In the Kavian Steel Complex, during the processes of reducing steel slags and industrial waste, after separating valuable materials such as iron slag, iron flakes, iron sponge, and iron oxide, which are used in steel production, materials known as waste are separated. Based on their gradation, some of these materials are used as raw materials for the production of cement clinker, while others are used as raw materials for road base and sub-base. • Base:

• Sub-base:

The sub-base, also known as the subgrade, is a layer that is placed below the base layer and its function is to drain water, increase bearing capacity, and create a smooth and stable surface for the base layer.
